We largely work with shingle roofs because shingles are affordable and versatile. While asphalt shingles are most commonly used, we offer them in a wide variety of colors and styles to suit your personal preferences.

We offer residential roof replacements for homeowners, particularly using shingles.

Some of our crews do work weekends. If scheduling doesn’t align during a week day for you, let’s get you on the books for Saturday or Sunday.

We serve homeowners in Northeast Ohio, specifically Cleveland, Akron, Canton, and surrounding areas.

About Roof Replacement

Your roof replacement cost is based on several factors, including the size of your roof, its complexity, the type of roofing materials you choose, and labor costs. We know this is a big financial decision for you. That’s why we provide a free instant quote backed by an exact price to give you a quick, transparent, and accurate estimate.

A roof replacement for an average-sized home with standard asphalt shingles can take around one to two days. On the longer end, a larger or more complex roof replacement can range from a few days to a week. Replacement time is variable based on several factors, including your roof’s size, its complexity, and the type of materials being used.

For Roofs Made Easy, most of our residential projects can be completed in one day. Larger homes or more complex residential houses can take two days.

While you can stay home during your roof replacement, many people leave because of noise and potential disruptions. You can trust our highly vetted local crews to work efficiently and respectfully whether you’re at home or out of the house.

You’ll likely consider replacing your roof after about 20 to 25 years. If you start to notice visible signs of damage like missing, curling, or cracked shingles, or if you notice leaks or water damage inside your home, that’s certainly an indication to start looking to replace.

The lifetime of your roof varies greatly depending on the type of roof currently installed on your home. Most roofs with shingles installed in past decades typically last 15 to 30 years. Newer shingles installed in recent years are expected to last 25 to 35 years or longer, depending on the quality of the installation and the quality of the materials. We at Roofs Made Easy install Owens Corning shingles with a limited lifetime warranty.

Roofing companies understand that you’re busy during the week. If scheduling your replacement during the week doesn’t work for you, many roofing companies do work on the weekends.

A standard roof replacement usually includes removing your old roofing materials, inspecting your roof deck, and installing your new roof, including the underlayment, your chosen shingles, and necessary flashing. Crews will finish up with debris clean-up to keep your yard free and clear of any old material.

Colder temperatures can bring some challenges for material handling and installation. Realistically, we can install a roof in the winter, but it depends on the temperature and whether your roof is safely accessible. While winter can be challenging, it’s not impossible. We avoid installing shingles in conditions that could cause long-term issues, like improper sealing or damage from cold, brittle materials. If temperatures rise above a certain threshold during the day and we can safely access your roof, we can replace it without problems.
