The Future of Roofing

Who We Are

Our Story

At Roofs Made Easy, we’re not new to the roofing industry. With over ten years of hands-on construction and roofing experience under our belts, we felt it was time to bring an innovative concept to the archaic roofing business. We’re Steven and Kelsey, and as a family, we built RME because we were tired of the traditional roofing run-around. If anyone understands how busy you are, it’s us. We want to spend time with our kids, not with some high-pressure salesman. We’re passionate about delivering top-notch roofing solutions while respecting your time and your home.

We're RME, roofing done differently—by our family to yours.

Painful Process

The age-old roof replacement process goes something like this. A sales rep comes to your house only after you’ve moved around your day to accommodate them. They sit at your table for three-plus hours, telling you about them, asking you about you, and giving you the latest sales jargon that their company claims will work. It’s exhausting and people of any age just don’t want to deal with it.

No one wants to wait around forever just to be sold to.

Boots on the Roof

Our founders, Stephen and Kelsey, bring over 10 years of roofing, construction, and insurance experience. Not only that, we know Northeast Ohio and understand the unique needs of communities that call Cleveland, Akron, Canton, and all the surrounding areas home. We’ve been on tens of thousands of roofs, have talked to thousands of people about their frustrations with the roofing process, yet have rarely met someone who doesn’t participate in the archaic roof replacement process.

It was time to bring this service into the modern age.

Who’s Actually On My Roof?

So we did. Leveraging cutting-edge, interactive software, Roofs Made Easy gets precise measurements of your home and provides a free instant quote, something the current roof replacement process couldn’t even dream of. But the big question in an industry that lacks trust is, who’s actually on my roof? Well, that comes down to our highly-vetted, local roofing crews. Using our decades of industry experience and personal network, we identify the most skilled and trustworthy roofing contractors in the area, carefully examining everything from workmanship to customer service to overall reliability. Put simply, it’s just great roofing.

If we wouldn't trust them to replace our own roof, we definitely wouldn't send them to replace yours.

Finally, Something Instant!

It really was about time someone modernized the outdated, untrustworthy, and stubborn roofing industry. Once we deliver your free instant quote, it’s off to the races. Our customized package options are tailored to you, our financing options work within your budget, and our transparency is unmatched by anyone in our industry. You won’t find hidden fees or gimmicks anywhere with RME. We’re here to solve your roofing problems, not add to your stress.

That’s truly what makes Roofs Made Easy the only choice for your home.

Steven Martin

Estimating & Customer Experience

Steven has spent over a decade in and around the construction and insurance industries, mainly roofing. He’s worked as a licensed public adjuster, insurance adjuster, roofing salesman, and remodeling company owner with experience in everything from bathrooms to full roof replacements.

He was inspired to start Roofs Made Easy as a way to align the roofing process with what homeowners actually want, without the old-school, high-pressure, in-home sales pitch tactics that have become all too common in the industry. He’s most proud of breaking the mold and doing things differently, utilizing technology, saving homeowners thousands, and providing a high-quality, streamlined process with great customer service—the same he’d want for his own home.

Steven handles general oversight, estimating, and customer service on a daily basis. He’s known for following through on what he says and doing everything he can to keep his word—a value his dad instilled in him early on. He truly does pride himself in his honesty and grit obtained by being an entrepreneur for the past 15 years.

When he’s not working, he’s usually on the farm (probably on the tractor), traveling with his family, or deep-diving into whatever subject has captured his attention that week. He tends to go all-in when something sparks his curiosity—it’s just how he’s wired.

Kelsey Martin

Operations & Finance

Kelsey is the engine behind the scenes at Roofs Made Easy. A graduate of Brescia University with a degree in Business Management, she attended on a full soccer scholarship and earned All-American honors as a goalkeeper, which should tell you a lot about her focus and determination.

Before co-founding Roofs Made Easy, Kelsey managed operations for a large HVAC company and later built and sold her own successful residential and commercial cleaning business. These days, she handles the financials, backend processes, and keeps our systems running smoothly. She also keeps Steven on track—no small feat.

Kelsey was inspired to start this company after experiencing firsthand the frustrations that come with trying to schedule home improvement projects while juggling kids, events, and everything else that comes with family life. She’s proud that we’ve created a way to save homeowners thousands while still providing high quality roof replacements. Our accurate, instant roof pricing is different than any other traditional roofing company in NE Ohio.

She’s a people-first problem solver with a huge heart. Whether she’s helping a customer, supporting the team, or running things at home, Kelsey leads with care and service.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her gardening, cooking something from scratch, managing the house like a pro, or traveling with Steven and their kids.

Roof Replacement Begins
Our experienced roofing subcontractors get to work. We’ll remain upfront about what’s included, we don’t hide fees, and we’ll clearly explain the possible extra costs that may arise if your roof has hidden issues.*

*Unlike many contractors who add significant markup when unexpected issues arise, we do things differently. If we discover something unexpected mid-replacement, you only pay what it costs us for the extra labor, materials, and disposal. For example, our experienced roofing crews may encounter an extra layer of shingles not seen from the surface.

This “at-cost” amount is calculated transparently and added to your final invoice, helping to minimize any financial burden or surprise. We stand by our word with no hidden fees. Just fair, transparent pricing to keep your roof replacement on track.
